Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Biography
Dr. Kesl is one of the few fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons in the Kansas City area. That means if you’re critically injured in an accident and have several broken bones, he’s the doctor who may be called in to help put you back together.
During his fellowship with Wellspan York Hospital, York, Pa., he developed special expertise in the repair of complex long bone fractures, periarticular fractures, pelvic fractures, non-union of fractures, including grafting procedures, other complex trauma-related fractures, and general orthopedics.
Dr. Kesl joined OSI following completion of his fellowship. He performed his residency in orthopedic surgery with OSI at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Mo.
He completed his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Columbia College, Columbia, Mo.
