Biography

Dr. Barnhill has been with OSI since 1984. He graduated from medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency with the University of Health Sciences, Kansas City and internship with Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis. His undergraduate work was completed at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Dr. Barnhill is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and is an assistant professor of surgery with the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

In his free time he loves to enjoy the outdoors attending to his garden with his wife and golden retriever. Every week during the spring and summer, visitors to our North Kansas City office or Brookside office can see fresh flowers displayed around the clinics from his garden. Dr. Barnhill is the recipient of the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award and loves to travel and visit his two sons by way of flying his helicopter.
