Biography

Licensed in Kansas and Missouri, Chrisy Byerley is a Physician Assistant who has spent the majority of her 18-year career in orthopedics. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University, she headed north to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she got her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants, the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Orthopedic Trauma Association. Byerley is on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and President-Elect for the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Byerley is married with a dog and two cats. She embraces her rural life and enjoys supporting her local community. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends, sew and quilt, and travel.
